RIC01 - HI-Q Instrument Cable - Live Series
RECOMMENDED FOR musicians who play guitars or basses with active and/or passive pickups and don’t want to loose any of the frequencies generated by their instrument, even in a live context, where the audio signal is more often prone to have problems due to mechanical stress, dampness and any kind of interference (radiation & magnetic fields, AC power line).
Designed and produced in 1992, this cable was the first to be conceived by Reference Laboratory to meet musicians needs, in terms signal quality and reliability, it’s still an electrical and mechanical engineering landmark. Made and developed to increase flexibility without loss of quality, its internal conductor is made up of capillary wires so as not to take anything away from the electric/acoustic output, and especially devoid of shape memory, Therefore this cable provide all the fundamental assets for a perfect live usage.
As with all the Reference Laboratory guitar cables, the RIC01 has a double copper shield as well as a semiconductor PVC jacket which makes it extremely flexible and durable, also supplying excellent performance and superior rejection of hum and noise caused by sharp and sudden movements during a live concert.
